Ultra Moisturizing Face Skin Care

I live in Canada. Our average temperature lately has been -25C (-13F) and with windchill -35C (-31F). So it’s been cold.

I usually have oily prone skin but even this weather has been drying me out and leaving behind that tight, red, angry skin. So I made a little self-care, skin-care routine.

I usually use the regular Neutrogena makeup wipes but found these night time calming ones. I then go in with a calming clay mask, which feels so refreshing and light on the skin.

I love love love my Blistex balm for my lips.

After I still use toner because regardless of dryness I’m prone to acne so I use this Clean and Clear one.

I then had a sample from Sephora I’ve been trying out and it’s the Estée Lauder advanced night repair. It’s so silky feeling and doesn’t leave residue. It is simply refreshing and hasn’t broken me out!

My last step is going in with an under eye gel. The one I’ve been using is Skin Lab eye gel. Not only is it helping to keep the moisture in my skin, but reduces my puffy dark circles.

Overall, this has significantly helped keep my skincare stay simple but effective. Even when I have to brave the cold!

No-makeup, makeup in Under 5 Minutes

For those lazy days, or off days where you need to look somewhat put together – no makeup makeup is perfect.

I use about 3 sometimes 4 products. BB cream, mascara, eyeshadow (basic) and sometimes powder. That’s it. If I were to put a price on it it would be around $40 for the entire look, but with items that would last you and give good quality.

And to prove how efficient this is I timed myself with a before and after.

Under 5 minutes.

Under 5 minutes, Get ready.

Ok so we all have busy lives, and have definitely all at some point felt that time crunch. Going back too my quick get ready picks from a previous post here, these are my new under 5 minutes go to.

1. Neutrogena Acne Correct and Colour (Fair to Light)

2. Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer

3. MAC skin finisher in cheeky bronze

4. NYX matte finish setting spray

As you can see it gives light coverage, but a nice glow to it. Quick enough to get me out of the house!
